The Cincinnati School of Hypnosis was founded by James A. Ward, PhD in 1975. He, along with his wife, operated the school from its inception until February 2007, when because of failing health, Dr. Ward asked his final formal student, Jeff Bentley, to purchase it from him—to continue the legacy he began. Dr. Ward left us with a wealth of written and recorded materials, as well as approaches to the workings of the human mind which are not brought out in the same way anywhere else. My intent is to continue what Dr. Ward started, adding my own insights, experiences and methods I have learned from others. Currently the school is in a de-certified status. I am working to rebuild the curriculum and then see the school re-certified and operational. For those interested in learning, I would ask your patience while I rebuild. I plan to offer courses that are interesting, enlightening and exciting to the student. It was Dr. Ward’s desire, and mine as well, that students of The Cincinnati School of Hypnosis actually be better practitioners of the science of hypnosis/hypnotherapy than their teacher. Once the school is fully operational again, I plan to offer courses for the professional or light workers to enhance the tools available to them for helping others, as well as a program leading to certification through the IMDHA (International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association.)
